How did I get infected with?

MyHomePage.pro shows up, courtesy of the hijacker, using it as a front. That explains the continuous presence of the page. But what about the hijacker? How do you explain its existence? These programs don’t pop up out of thin air. They require permission to enter. Your permission. Let’s explain. A hijacker must ask for your approval on its install. It can only move forward with the process, after receiving it. So, it seems simple enough, right? No permission, no admission? Well, not quite. Yes, the hijacker has to ask your approval. But it doesn’t have to do it outright. And, it doesn’t. The tool is masterful when it comes to trickery. It manages to seek your permission, while keeping you oblivious. Yes, you’re clueless. Agree to everything in blind faith. And, leave your fate to chance. If you wish to maintain a PC free of infections, don’t do any of that! Choose vigilance over naivety, haste, and distraction. It provides the far better alternative.

Well, to the cyber criminals that unleashed it onto the web. That’s right. Unknown third parties with questionable agendas. Those are the people, who get access to your private details. Does that sound like it has a positive outcome? Don’t fool yourself. Don’t allow the hijacker to get a hold of your information. Protect your personal and financial data. Protect your systems well-being. Get rid of the nasty cyber threat ASAP. Its prompt removal earns you the gratitude of your future self. Its prolonged stay earns you headaches and grievances.
