How did I get infected with?

Buzzdock is bound to ask for your approval before it installs itself on your PC. However, it’s extremely resourceful when it comes to getting it. You don’t even realize a malicious application is trying to infect your system. The tool resorts to slyness and deception as means of invasion. It usually hitches a ride with freeware. Freeware is its most preferred method of infection because it provides possibly the easiest access point since most users pay little to no attention during its install. That’s ridiculous considering how freeware is often bundled with all sorts of malware. Instead of carefully reading the terms and conditions, they agree to everything in haste. Maybe there’s a situation when haste and distraction lead to positive results, but that’s not it. Nothing good will come from rushing the process and not being attentive when dealing with freeware. If you wish to avoid Buzzdock and its daily messes, remember that a little extra attention can go a long, long way. Attention is crucial!

Why are these ads dangerous?

As most adware programs, Buzzdock also makes an entire array of promises. Too bad, they’re all false. Its selling point is that it helps you enhance your browsing experience by displaying additional search results. However, the bitter reality is far different than what the sugary layer of marketing depicts. Truth is, this program couldn’t care less about you, and it’s most certainly not interested in helping you. Its only concern is how to use you in order to make money off of you, because that’s its primary objective.  Buzzdock is programmed to generate web traffic and produce pay-per-click revenue for the third parties behind it. This is where the never-ending waterfall of pop-ups kicks in. Every ad, the application tricks you into clicking on, is profit for these individuals. However, it is NOT advised to click on the ads as they’re immensely unreliable. Even a single click on a single ad can lead to severe system damages. For example, you could, unknowingly and unwillingly, end up installing more malware. Just imagine the consequences of having more malicious tools running around your system. The possibility sounds pretty scary, right? Unfortunately, this is not the most frightening aspect of having Buzzdock on your computer. As was already mentioned, after infection, the application attempts to steal your personal and financial details. It keeps track of your every move and catalogs everything. Then, after it feels it has collected enough data from you, sends it to the wicked strangers who support it. Do you think this useless and harmful program is worth risking your privacy for? Think long and hard before you answer.
