Strange Cinema Plus ads start to appear and you cannot remove them.

Cinema Plus is an ad supported program that displays its own ads on various e-commerce websites that you may visit. Even though not considered malicious, its presence in the system can cause great annoyance and disruption.

How did I get infected with?

How to Remove Cinema-Plus from Chrome, Firefox or IE

The first thing to do is to uninstall Cinema Plus from the Control Panel’s Programs & Features tab. Here you will find all the programs installed in your system. Look for any suspicious looking programs, besides Cinema Plus, and uninstall all these programs. These programs could be potential malware can could be particularly harmful to your system.

  • Open Google Chrome
  • In the Main Menu, select Tools —> Extensions
  • Remove the Cinema Plus Extension by clicking on the little recycle bin
  • Reset Google Chrome by Deleting the current user to make sure nothing is left behind

  • Disable the Cinema-Plus add on
