GigaDiet is a potentially unwanted adware program. It’s highly invasive, and its presence on your computer can cause an abundance of grievances and headaches. That is if you let it. So, don’t. The best course of action you can take after you discover the tool’s existence is to delete it! The sooner, the better! Why? How did I get infected with?

GigaDiet doesn’t just pop up on your computer as it by magic. There’s nothing magical about it. Applications like it require your permission to enter, and unless you grant it, they cannot. That means that, at some point, the program asked whether you agree to install it, and you complied. Otherwise, you wouldn’t be in your current predicament. But, here’s the kicker: you most probably have no memory of this. You don’t remember GigaDiet seeking approval and you consenting, and do you know why that is? Well, the tool doesn’t ask openly. Oh, no. It does it sneakily via deception and finesse. It’s utterly masterful when it comes to finding a way into your system while keeping you oblivious to it. It tends to use the old but gold means infiltration to succeed. That includes hiding behind corrupted links or sites, hitching a ride with spam email attachments or freeware, and it can also sneak in undetected by pretending to be an update. You may be entirely convinced you’re updating your Adobe Flash Player or Java, but you’d be wrong. In actuality, you’ll be giving the green light to a dangerous adware infection, which will wreak havoc on your system continuously for as long as it’s allowed to remain. If you wish to prevent that, try to be mote cautious next time you’re installing a tool or an update. After all, even a little extra attention today can save you a ton of troubles tomorrow.

Why are these ads dangerous?

GigaDiet promises “Diet Tips, Tricks & more!” But does it come through? Does it fulfill its intentions to help you with your dietary needs, requirements, or desires? Hardly. It’s a hazardous infection, which brings you nothing but harm and headaches. Since GigaDiet is an ad-supported application, it will continuously flood you with pop-up ads in the hopes that you’ll click on them. The more clicks, the better! Well, for the program at least. That’s because, for GigaDiet, each click ensures its existence and the safe continuation of its operations. But for you, it’s a different story. The advertisements, which will take over your screen every time you try to surf the web, are immensely unreliable. They’re bundled with various malicious programs, just waiting to slither into your system, and corrupt it further. And, do you know what? You’re the one to let them. Yes, each time you press a pop-up, you unknowingly agree to install the nasty cyber threats, which it’s hiding. So, avoid the program’s ads! It may be a difficult feat since they’ll show up to disrupt your browsing every time you go online. And, since that will occur quite often, the ever-present ads will slow down your PC to a crawl, as well as cause frequent system crashes. Unfortunately, the pesky pop-ups and the malware risk they pose will pale in comparison to the security threat, which it will place upon you. GigaDiet is programmed to spy on you from the moment it settles on your system. It keeps track of your browsing habits and catalogs your every move until it decides it has gathered enough data. Then it sends it to the third parties behind it. Once these strangers have it, they can use it as they see fit. The question is, are you going to allow that? Are you prepared to hand your personal and financial information to unknown individuals? Do you think it’s a risk worth taking? Don’t jeopardize your privacy and your system’s well-being for a dreadful, harmful program. Delete GigaDiet as soon as the opportunity presents itself.
