Home Malware Cleaner is a potentially unwanted program from the Rogue.FakeVimes family. It may try to sell you a different story but it’s a simple PUP. It pretends to be a useful program. It claims to  protect your PC, optimize your system, and whatnot. But that’s just a pose. The tool does nothing but damage, harm, and threaten your PC, your system, and yourself. Once you look past the sugary layer of marketing, reality kicks in. Home Malware Cleaner pretends to scan your system. It employs scare tactics to get you to act against your better judgment. It displays made-up results that your PC is flooded with cyber threats. In actuality, the one threat, you should be worried about, is Home Malware Cleaner. It cannot even perform scans! It’s unable to run diagnostics. Everything it shows you as ‘results’ is a lie. It’s part of the tool’s scheme to exploit you. Don’t let it succeed. Make the right choice, and delete the program. Don’t give into your naivety and buy its lies. All Home Malware Cleaner offers is false promises. Not to mention, issues upon issues. Once you realize it’s on your PC, find and delete it. The sooner, the better.

How did I get infected with Home Malware Cleaner?

The nasty program sneaks into your system undetected. It preys on your carelessness and slyly slithers its way in. All while keeping you oblivious. Its usual antics involve the old but gold means of infiltration. That includes hitching a ride with corrupted links or spam email attachments. Or, pretending to be a bogus update. Like, Java or Adobe Flash Player. But, out of all the methods, its favorite is to hide behind freeware. And, if you’re not careful enough to spot it, you install the PUP with the freeware. It’s hardly surprising, that’s its most common way to invade your PC. It provides, arguably, the easiest entry point. For reasons unknown, most users throw caution to the wind when installing free software. They’re distracted, in a rush, and don’t even read the terms and conditions. Why rely on luck when you can do your due diligence instead? Be more thorough, careful, and vigilant. Sometimes even a little extra attention can save you a ton of troubles. Don’t be careless, and agree to install an infection on accident. Be cautious enough to spot it trying to sneak in, and stop it!

Why is Home Malware Cleaner dangerous?

Home Malware Cleaner is a PUP, posing as a helpful tool. Supposedly, it’s a system optimizer, but that’s just the marketing talking. In reality, it’s a malicious, harmful infection. It’s all a scam to get you to pay for something useless. A program that does nothing positive for your PC. One, which only further damages your system. Don’t give your money to these scammers! Home Malware Cleaner does NOT ‘clean’ your system. It messes it up. And, if you let it, it WILL mess it up beyond repair. We’re talking The Blue Screen of Death.
