How to Remove Kuaizip Virus

Can’t Remove Kuaizip ads? This page includes detailed ads by Kuaizip Removal instructions!

Kuaizip Virus (KuaiZip) is supposed to be a “free, convenient, fast compressor”. As the name of this article implies, though, you’re dealing with a PC virus. Usually when you come across an attractive program that’s too good to be true, it’s malicious. Kuaizip falls in that category. According to its official website, Kuaizip provides various functionalities. On theory, it supports more than 40 compression formats (including .rar and .zip). On practice this is an adware-type PUP (potentially unwanted program). You’re soon to be convinced exactly how unwanted Kuaizip is. As already mentioned, this is an extremely misleading parasite. By pretending to be a harmless tool, the virus tricks you into keeping it on board. However, you would be keeping a shifty, secretive and resourceful PC infection. We shouldn’t have to explain why this is dangerous, right? Hidden behind its alluring facade of a compressing program, Kuaizip jeopardizes your safety. It also jeopardizes your privacy but more on the subject – later on. As soon as your PC gets infected, the parasite starts changing your browser settings. Whether you agree with these manipulations or not is irrelevant. The only thing that matters now is hackers’ illegitimate profit. You see, Kuaizip comes for free. Its developers still want to gain revenue, though, so they use the pay-per-click mechanism. Every single time you click open some of the Kuaizip pop-ups, hackers gain profit. Ah, the pop-ups. Without a doubt this never-ending pile of commercials has already caught your attention. Coupons, discounts, various offers in various shapes, price comparisons, etc. Kuaizip generates all of these and many more. What the pop-ups share is the fact they are sponsored and unreliable. Now that you know they help hackers gain money, do you still think the ads could be beneficial for you? Enhancing your online shopping experience was never the thing crooks wanted. They are only interested in their revenue so your security is not part of the picture. Remember, Kuaizip doesn’t discriminate between safe and unsafe commercials. What’s even worse is that there’s no telling which ad is real and which one isn’t until you click. Is this really a risk you’re willing to take, though? Avoid all pop-ups this pest displays because you may compromise your machine ever further. In addition, Kuaizip spies on your browsing-related activities and slows down the PC. It doesn’t give you one single reason to keep it on your computer system. Do the right thing and delete the infection.

How did I get infected with?

There is a slight possibility that you installed Kuaizip from its official website. After all, the virus does provide a download option there. Being a PC parasite, though, Kuaizip mainly relies on your  haste online. That means the most likely explanation is that the virus sneaked in behind your back. For example, freeware and shareware bundles are extremely popular infiltration methods. They are both stealthy and effective so it’s no surprise hackers prefer this technique. A rule of thumb for the future – stay away from unverified websites. Their software packages are often full of unwanted “bonus” that you must deselect. In order to deselect the potential intruders, though, you have to spot them first. This is why we strongly advise you to opt for the Advanced or Custom option. Also, take your time in the installation process. Many people tend to skip steps thus leaving their computers vulnerable to malware. Don’t become one of them. When downloading programs, always make sure you’re in control of the installation. If you’re not the one in charge, it will be hackers.

Why are these ads dangerous?

Kuaizip installs a browser add-on immediately after installation. The thing is, this browser extension is a constant source of trouble. It’s compatible with Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Internet Explorer so it’s everywhere. Once this plugin takes over, you can’t get rid of the stubborn Kuaizip pop-ups. These commercials are not only irritating and obnoxious but also harmful. Make sure you stay away from the ads regardless of how attractive they seem to be. Remember, Kuaizip is a deceptive program designed solely to cause you harm. This program also redirects you to  unsafe, unknown websites. By generating web traffic, the parasite helps its greedy developers gain even more revenue. Last but not least, Kuaizip puts your privacy in danger. The virus collects browsing history, passwords, IP addresses, email addresses, etc. Then all this data gets sent straight into the hands of crooks. You see, cyber criminals could easily sell your personal information for marketing purposes. Eventually, Kuaizip may lead to financial scams and identity theft.
