How did I get infected with?

Adware application are conniving. They use trickery and deceit to get you to say YES. For if one is to enter your PC, it needs your YES. Confused? Well, it’s rather simple. Adware applications have to ask you, the user, if you agree to install them. Only if you do, can they proceed with the install process. They can’t have you denying them access. So, to avoid that, they make sure to ask the proper way. The way, which entails affirmation, and not rejection. They turn to slyness and subtlety. The same applies for ShoppingDay. It’s no exception. Yes, ShoppingDay does seek your consent on its entry. But it does it in the sneakiest way possible. Like, pretending to be a system or program update. If you’re not vigilant enough to spot the deception, that’s it. You end up with an infection. The adware can also hide behind freeware. That’s why, it’s crucial to do your due diligence when installing anything off the web. Take the time to be thorough. Read the terms and conditions. Know what you say YES to. Even a little extra attention can save you a ton of troubles. The lack thereof does the opposite. Cyber threats, like ShoppingDay, prey on carelessness. So, make sure NOT to provide it. Be cautious instead.

The infection doesn’t only mess up your browsing experience. It also jeopardizes your private life. It spies on you, and records every online move you make.
