How did I get infected with?

The SharePal adware cannot hack your computer. It uses trickery to sneak in. To succeed, the parasite relies on your cooperation. It uses bundles, fake updates, and spam emails to trick you into installing it unintentionally. One second of carelessness is all it needs to succeed. Don’t make its job easier. The key to a secure and infection-free computer is caution. All you should do is to keep your guard up. Especially when you are about to install a new program. When available, always select the Advanced/Custom setup option. Many software developers attach extras to the payload files of their apps. More often than not, these extras are parasites like the SharePal adware. You can prevent the extras from installing under the advanced setup. If you use the standard option, however, these additional apps will get installed without your explicit approval. Don’t allow this! Always make sure you know what you are approving on board! Read the terms and conditions/end user license agreement (of course, you can use an online EULA analyzer to speed up this process). If you detect anything out of the ordinary, abort the installation immediately. The SharePal adware, just like many other parasites, prays on your carelessness. Don’t provide it! Be vigilant instead. Always do your due diligence!

Why is this dangerous?

The SharePal adware is not a parasite you should neglect. Act against the intruder as soon as possible. If you don’t, there will be terrible consequences. The adware is not just annoying. It is quite dangerous. This intruder spies on you. It monitors your browsing related data. The adware knows your every online step. Even the Incognito mode of your browser cannot hide you. It’s just a matter of time before the parasite discovers something sensitive. The SharePal adware analyzes your every online action and uses the collected data against you. On paper, if you enter “sneakers” into a search engine, you’ll get ads for sports shoes. In practice, however, you get bombarded with countless unreliable ads. The SharePal adware has no security mechanism. It doesn’t verify its ads. Neither does it check the advertisers behind them. Numerous crooks take advantage of the parasite and its resources. They use the adware to spread corrupted content. The cooks show you what you want to see. Yet, when you click, bad things happen. An unverified advert may arise unwarranted expectations at best. At worst, it will redirect you to scam and phishing websites. If you are very unlucky, you may end up on infected websites too. Do not risk it! The SharePal adware has no place on your computer. Remove it the first chance you get! The sooner it’s gone, the better!
