Can’t Remove Speedyfixer? This page includes detailed Speedyfixer Removal instructions!

Speedyfixer is advertised as a great optimization tool. Once you install this utility, however, it reveals its true face. This app is a parasite. Security researchers classify it as a PUP (Potentially Unwanted Program). This category includes apps that don’t disclose their functions properly, as well as pose a potential risk. That’s exactly the case with Speedyfixer. This parasite is an aggressive, ad-generating menace that opens your browser to surveillance. The PUP follows programming to monitor your browsing habits and to use the collected information for targeted ads. In theory, if you enter “sneakers” into a search engine, the PUP should display ads for sports shoes. In practice, though, it floods you with countless coupons and discounts for sports gear. Speedyfixer inserts various ads on every website you visit. It displays banners and turns random text into hyperlinks. It also opens notifications that urge you to “Approve” or “Install” questionable browser extensions. And as if that’s not bad enough, but the PUP also loads third-party websites in new tabs and windows. This parasite ruins your browsing experience! Its numerous advertisements burden your browser and make it prone to freezing and crashes. And not only that, but you also risk ending on dangerous websites. That’s the nature of the PUP. It treats its users as targets. Its ads are often misleading and deceptive. Do not put yourself through this torture! Speedyfixer has no place on your computer. Remove this intruder before it gets a chance to cause you harm!

How did I get infected with Speedyfixer?

Speedyfixer has an official website and download. More often than not, however, this PUP travels the Web hidden in bundles, fake updates, and corrupted links. The thing about this app is that it cannot “hack” your computer. It needs you, the user, to approve its installation. No permission, no admission. It sounds simple, but there is a big catch! Having to seek your approval is not the same as having to do so outright. The PUP hides in the fine print. This parasite gets installed when you “forget” to deselect it. Do not make that mistake! Always make sure you know what you approve on your PC. Parasites like Speedyfixer lurk in the shadows and prey on your naivety. Do not let your guard down! Only your vigilance can keep your PC free of infections! Don’t visit questionable websites. Download software from reliable (preferably official) sources only. And don’t rush through the installation processes. Forget about the “Next-Next-Finish” strategy. When available, use the advanced/custom setup option. Make sure you know what you install. Go through the terms and conditions before you agree to them. If you can’t read the whole document, scan it with an online EULA analyzer. Even a little extra attention can spare you an avalanche of problems. Opt out of the installation if you notice anything suspicious!

Why is Speedyfixer dangerous?

Speedyfixer is a nightmare. It sneaks into your computer and throws you into a whirlwind of ads. Whether you watch a video or browse your favorite website, the PUP always finds a way to interrupt you with an ad of some kind. It inserts various banners on every web page you loads, opens pop-ups, and plays video commercials. Click nothing, though! These ads are unreliable at best. At worst, they redirect web traffic to phishing, scam, and infected websites. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Speedyfixer is a complete and utter menace. This parasite threatens to not only lure you into an online trap but also to leak sensitive information about you. That’s not a bad joke! The PUP spies on you from day one. It monitors your every online activity. Which websites you visit, which links you follow, what search queries you make. The Incognito mode can’t hide you. The PUP knows everything! And if you are not careful, some pieces of data, your search queries, for example, may contain personal and financial details! Do not take unnecessary risks! Heed the experts’ advice: as soon as you become aware of the infection, take action. Find where Speedyfixer hides and delete it upon detection!
