Remove Ad-click Virus (Complete Removal)

Can’t Remove Ad-click ads? This page includes detailed ads by Ad-click Removal instructions!

Ad-click (also known as Adclick) is supposed to be a harmless online application. The fact we’re writing this article right now proves that sentence to be a lie. Behind all bogus functionalities and fake promises Ad-click spews out, there’s a sneaky cyber parasite. Yes, this thing is a virus. Classified as a potentially unwanted program (PUP) and adware, Ad-click could be very dangerous if you allow it. Remember, you’re dealing with an aggressive, resourceful, troublesome program. There’s nothing safe about keeping it on board and there’s not even a single reason to procrastinate. Procrastination will not solve your problem. Action will. The sooner you get rid of the virus, the better so don’t hesitate. One thing you should know about adware – it only becomes more harmful as time passes. You’re practically compromising both your safety AND privacy by tolerating Ad-click’s shenanigans. To begin with, the virus goes after your browsers immediately after installation. By adding a browser extension, this program takes control over your entire browsing history in no time. Every single time you attempt to surf the Web,  no matter which website you’re currently on, Ad-click generates ads. Pop-up ads, pop-under ads, banner ads, interstitial ads, video ads, etc. – the program offers a great variety of commercials in all the shapes you could possibly think of. It’s quite obvious that browsing the Web becomes almost impossible now that you stumble across a never-ending pile of advertisements on a daily basis. Ad-click’s ads are immensely irritating, stubborn and difficult to handle. There’s only one way to get rid of them and yes, it involves deleting the parasite that brought the ads to you in the first place. You might also be interested to know that Ad-click’s commercials are all sponsored. That makes them all unreliable. The sole reason why adware gets developed is to generate web traffic towards some unknown, highly questionable websites. This is how its developers gain profit online and this is how you could accidentally compromise your own machine. It’s extremely important for your further safety to avoid all web links Ad-click displays. You might end up on a dangerous website infested with malware or fall victim to a nasty financial scam. All that Ad-click does is serve as a back door to parasites and redirect you; it will certainly not enhance your Internet experience. On the other hand, it will successfully demolish it. As if that wasn’t enough, Ad-click spies on your private information like nobody’s business. Passwords, usernames, IP addresses, email addresses, browsing history, search queries, etc. – all of them get sent straight into the greedy hands of cyber criminals. Does that thought make you feel nervous? It should.

How did I get infected with?

There are many virus distribution techniques online, that’s what makes it hard to tell which one Ad-click applies. However, the most popular method is freeware/shareware bundling. It’s an extremely easy task to protect your machine and yet, many people fail to do so. Remember, most illegitimate software bundles include at least one “bonus” parasite alongside the safe programs. Unless you’re paying attention, you’ll install the bonus as well. We recommend opting for the Advanced or Custom option in the Setup Wizard and reading the EULA (End User License Agreement). Same thing goes for the Terms and Conditions. This might not be a particularly fun activity but your number one priority online should be protecting your device. Always keep in mind that your caution (or the lack of it) will determine whether your computer remains virus-free or gets filled with malware. Also, some of the oldest tricks in the books such as spam email-attachments, spam messages from unknown senders, third-party commercials and illegitimate pages still work like a charm so they should be avoided as well.

Why are these ads dangerous?

Ad-click’s ads are not only annoying. They could be leading you directly to malware. Therefore, apart from the fact this program floods your computer screen with useless, irritating commercials, it might cause you some serious damage. The virus works just fine with Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Internet Explorer so there’s no escaping its sneaky modifications. As mentioned already, Ad-click is currently on board to boost web traffic towards some specific websites, not to be beneficial for you. It also causes numerous privacy issues and may even result in identity theft. Keeping this adware on board is quite an unwarranted risk which should be prevented unless you’re willing to let the virus do harm. This is a program that simply cannot be trusted. There’s no doubt you have to get rid of it as soon as possible. To do so manually, please follow the detailed removal guide that you will find down below.
