How did I get infected with?

Adware tools use slyness and subtlety to invade. And, they not only manage to slither their way inside, but do so undetected. Yes, they manage to keep their existence a secret. That is, until they choose otherwise, and reveal themselves. The grand reveal tends to occur when the interferences start to flow. It may seem strange that an adware can invade your system unnoticed. Especially, when you consider, it needs your permission on its installment. Yes, FAassistant cannot access your PC unless you, the user, allow that. Here’s the thing. Every adware has to seek user’s consent on its admission. But that doesn’t mean it must do so outright. These infections don’t use the straightforward approach. Instead, they turn to the most covert methods of inquiry. Yes, they do still ask for your approval. But do it in the sneakiest ways possible. They lurk behind freeware, corrupted links, spam emails. They can pose as fake updates. There’s a myriad of available methods, they can use to infiltrate your PC. But you still have to give them the green light. Without your YES, the adware can’t succeed. Consider yourself the last line of defense. Don’t give into gullibility, haste, and distraction. Don’t rely on luck, instead of due diligence. Always take the time to be thorough. Caution goes a long way. It helps to keep an infection-free PC. Carelessness does the opposite. Make the right choice.

Why is this dangerous?

FAassistant gets advertised as a useful tool. Its developers claim, it’s legitimate and helpful. Supposedly, you can use it to restrict access to various files or folders, by adding password protection. And, that does seem like a grand feature. The thing is, you can’t get it from FAassistant. It offers no assistance. It’s not reliable. It’s untrustworthy, and a threat to both your system, and yourself. Look past the sugary layer of marketing, and that’s pretty evident. After the tool slithers into your system, it begins its array of unpleasantness. You begin to suffer daily intrusions, when you browse. That’s where you first notice the tool’s influences. Every time, you go online, you face an avalanche of interference. You get redirected to a plethora of suspicious-looking sites. Not to mention, the ever-flowing waterfall of pop-up, in-text, and banner ads that comes your way. Browsing the web becomes a nightmare. And, don’t think these continuous disruptions go unnoticed. Oh, no. They take their toll on your system as it starts to suffer frequent crashes. Your computer’s performance also slows down to a crawl. Add to that heap of hazards, the security threat, and it’s a given. FAassistant has NO place on your PC! The best course of action, you can take, is to remove it ASAP! Don’t waste time in debates. Delays have consequences.
