How did I get infected with?

The hijacker, behind MyFirstTab.com, invaded undetected. But how? How did it manage that? It seems quite the impossible feat, when you consider the following. No hijacker can access a PC without user’s consent. The tool has to ask if you agree to install it. And, if you don’t, no entry. It’s as simple as that. But, then, do you recall approving the hijacker into your PC? The display of the MyFirstTab.com page means that you did. And, odds are, you have no memory of doing it. That’s not surprising, though. Don’t be too hard on yourself. You got duped. The hijacker does seek your consent on its admission. But it does it in the most covert way possible. It resorts to the old but gold means of infiltration. Like, corrupted links or sites. Or freeware. Or, spam email attachments. It can even pose as a fake update, like Java or Adobe Flash Player. Ts methods are prolific. But they do share a common necessity. They need your carelessness to prove successful. So don’t grant it. Instead of giving into naivety and distraction, and rushing, be cautious! Be extra vigilant and attentive. Take the time to be thorough. Even a little extra attention goes a long way. Always do your due diligence.

Why is this dangerous?

MyFirstTab.com becomes your online shadow. It appears when you open a new tab. When you search the web, it’s among the results. It pops up at every turn. And, that’s because the hijacker forces it on, you, all the time. It renders its display unavoidable. MyFirstTab.com even takes over your default homepage and search engine. One day, you come to find the switch, already in place. Did you approve it? No. Did you know about it, prior? No. It’s just there. That’s how hijackers work. That’s what you can expect from the one, using MyFirstTab.com as a face. The infection can perform a variety of reshuffles, throughout your system. And, it can do so, without bothering to clue you in, or seek permission. And, that’s dangerous on so many levels. Think about it. What if it decides to flood your PC with malware? Well, it can. Do you think your system will endure such an attack? And, for how long? How long until it gets overwhelmed, and gives up? Don’t wait around to find out. Get rid of the malicious infection at once! The sooner you do, the better. Its immediate removal ensures the well-being of your system. As well as, earns you the gratitude of your future self. Not to mention, keeps your private information private. Otherwise, it’s at grave risk. The more time the hijacker remains, the bigger the risk. You risk your personal and financial data falling into the hands of the people, behind the threat. Cyber criminals. Don’t allow that. Delete the infection. ASAP.
